What are the most feared by the newly-entered installation masters? Eight out of ten people would say "the dense interfaces on the receiving card were dizzy." Last week, I saw a novice hit the power cord into the network, and almost burned the entire screen. Today we will break it apart and break it up and talk about how to connect the wire on the receiving card. (Talk about the data: mastering the correct method can save 2 hours of rework time)

​Don't miss items when preparing tools​
Find a Phillips screwdriver with magnetic properties - the receiving card screw is very small and easy to fall off
Adjust the multimeter to 20V DC gear (the voltage measurement error does not exceed 0.3V)
Choose the insulating tape with a thickness of 0.15mm (too thin can easily leak electricity, too thick can affect heat dissipation)

​Wiring sequence life and death lines​

  1. ​Connect the power supply first and then plug in the network cable​ ​: Have you ever seen a terminal that plugs and unplugs with live? Smoke will appear if the 12V power interface is connected in reverse for more than 3 seconds
  2. ​Connect from left to right​ ​: Main control card → first receiving card → second receiving card... Out of order will cause more than 50% of the screen to be off
  3. ​Test points must be accurate​ ​: Use the nib of the multimeter to touch the TEST contact, and the voltage is stable at 4.95-5.05V to be considered qualified

Last year, when installing screens for the mall, a master connected the 48V phantom power supply to the 5V interface and directly melted 32 modules. Remember: Black terminal ≠ ground terminal! Look carefully at the V+ and GND logos marked on the card

A: Eighty times the line order is wrong! Use the wire measuring instrument to see if the lights 1-8 are all on, and focus on checking whether the core 3 and 6 are broken.

👉 The temperature of the shell is ≤45℃ (slight temperature feel) is normal, so if you are hot, you need to check the load: each card has a maximum load of 512×1024 pixels

Q: How to prevent signal attenuation in multiple card cascades?
Remember the "20-meter rule": a repeater must be added to the network cable for more than 20 meters, otherwise the transmission delay will be 17ms more

  1. Don't pull it hard when you touch the snap-on terminal! Press and hold the tabs on both sides and draw the wire to avoid 90% of the interface damage
  2. Prepare a label printer and number each wire when wiring - you can save 40% of the time for maintenance next time
  3. When encountering a local black screen for unknown reasons, wipe all the cable heads with alcohol cotton pads first, the oxide layer will cause signal loss.

Recently, a metaphysical phenomenon was discovered: a power cord with a diameter of 0.5 mm² is more stable than a 1.0 mm². Later I realized that thick wires easily form virtual connections at the terminals, which in turn affects the current stability. So, wiring is a slight difference and a thousand miles of errors...
